The Crime Traveller’s Wife, a Type 1 diabetic, redefined irony by settling on a chocolate wrap to atone for having brought her along for the Gros Piton climb the previous day. In the comfort of our sanctuary, I watched as she was slathered neck-to-toe in chocolate and wrapped tightly while enjoying a scalp massage before showering off for a post-wrap body moisturizing.

The “treatment” was capped off with a little “medication” as Dana’s therapist left behind a tray of chocolate treats to enjoy as I basked in her post-massage glow.
